Llegó a finales de verano, recien iniciada la pretemporada, pero con su humilde forma de ser se ha hecho un hueco en el grupo humano que es el equipo azulón. Sin duda y por motivos obvios (su nacionalidad checa), es el jugador más desconocido del CB Marbella, pero hoy podremos conocer de primera mano cómo ve el equipo, la liga y la temporada en general. Alguien que ha retrado la vuelta a su país para poder acabar , al menos, la fase regular y no dejar el equipo con menos efectivos. Incluso, la imagen que se lleva de los compañeros no puede ser mejor. Con el número "11"... Zdenek Louda.

Tenía que utilizar espaňol desde el primer día que llegué a Espaňa y necesitaba aprender rápido el idioma porque antes de llegar no hablaba ni mucho menos, y de pronto tuve que trabajar con espaňoles. Sobre todo me ayudaban las clases de espaňol, pero con el tiempo echaba de menos conversar con gente. Eso me faltó y todavía me falta.
Fist of all, how is your Spanish progress?
I had to use the Spanish since the first day in which I arrived to Spain, so I need to learn quickly the language because before coming I did not speak it, and suddlenly I had to work with Spanish people. But overall the Spanish lessons help me, although I missed to talk with people. It is still missing.
¿Ha sido el idioma lo más complicado desde tu llegada al equipo?
Sorprendentemente no. Me enteré de que para incorporarme en el nuevo grupo era más importante la pasión por el baloncesto y la comunicacion no verbal. Aunque no entendía nada, tenía ganas de entrenar con los chicos. Al principio usaba más la intuición que el conocimiento del idioma. Los problemas aparecieron luego para entender el sistema de juego.
Has been the language the most difficult matter from your arrive?
Suprisingly not. I heart thatthe most important question to be in the team was the passion for basketball and the no verbal communication. Although I understand anything I really wanted to train with the guys. Initially I sued more the intuition than the language knowledge. The problems started to learn the game's systems.
¿La lesión en el tobillo te ha impedido disfrutar de más minutos, sobre todo porque el equipo tenía otras bajas?
Sí, posiblemente hubiera podido jugar más por las bajas que había. De todas formas no ha sido un gran problema para mí, porque ya había tenido este tipo de lesiones otras veces y es algo que siempre puede ocurrir. Pero es verdad que esta situacion cortó un poco mis expectativas.
Did the ankle’s injury prevent to have more minutes because the team was missing other regulars?
Yes, I could might play more due to the regulars. Nevertheless it has not been a big problem for me, because I had this type of injury before and it is something that it could happen. Honestly this situation cut my prospects.
¿Cómo llegaste a conocer el conjunto?
Ya en julio del aňo pasado preguntaba a la gente si sabía un sitio donde podía jugar, pero conocía poca gente en ese momento. Por fin en septiembre la respuesta llegó de mi profesora de espaňol, que sabía donde entrenaba el equipo y me dijo yue podía preguntar allí. Poco después visité el entrenamiento y me alegré mucho de como me aceptaron los chicos. Me acuerdo que al principio me chocó que entrenaran al aire libre pero pensé que posiblemente era por el buen tiempo. Después me enteré que era porque el pabellón estaba en obras. Esto me gustó especialmente porque me permitía aprovechar el buen tiempo que normalmente no tenemos en la Republica Checa.
I asked in July 2010 if there was a place to play although I did know people on that moment. But my Spanich teacher explained me in September where the team was training, so she told me to ask there. I visited the training and I was happy with the group's acceptance. I remember that it was very surprised for me the outdoors training, after I noted that the reason was the reparation works in the sports centre. This situation liked to take advantage the weather that I do not have in Czech Republic.
¿Qué te ha gustado más en estos meses?
Estar con el equipo porque ha cambiado muchas cosas. Sin baloncesto la estancia aquí no hubiera tenido mucho sentido para mí y posiblemente me hubiera ido a Praga mucho antes. Estoy contento por la elección que tomé gracias al baloncesto. Conocer a todo el equipo ha sido lo mejor.
To be with the team because it has changed several things to me. Without basketball my stay here would not make so sense and probably I had return to Prage before. I am very happy with the election thanks to the basketball. To know the team has been the best one.
Sabemos que te has integrado muy bien en el grupo humano que forma la plantilla, incluso desplazándote (pese a tu lesión) al partido en Cádiz frente a Olímpico. ¿Cómo catalogas el ambiente en el equipo?
Me gustan mucho las salidas con el equipo cuando jugamos fuera. Aunque tenía la lesión de tobillo quise estar con ellos para apoyarles el día del partido y también para salir con ellos después. Creo que en mi país no hay equipos tan unidos y con tan buen ambiente como CB Marbella. Eso me faltó en la Republica Checa en algunos equipos donde he jugado.
We know that you has made up likey in the human group that is the team, including the trip to the match against Olimpico in Cadiz in spite of your injury. How do you thik about the atmosphore in the team?
I like the trips with the team when we play out of Marbella. Although I had the ankle's injury I wanted to be with them to support the match's day and to go out with them after. I think that there are not teams in my country so closed and with this atmosphore as CB Marbella. It missed me in some teams at Czech Republic.
¿Cómo ves el nivel de esta Primera Nacional? ¿Sabes que existen tres categorías por encima hasta llegar a la ACB?
Honestamente, no tenía ni idea del nivel de la competición antes de comenzar la competición, cuando vi los primeros partidos me di cuenta que es una competición prestigiosa, posiblemente la de más nivel que he disputado nunca. Pero personalmente pienso que desear ganar es todavía un importante factor y a menudo determina el resultado del partido.
What do you think about the basketball level in this Nacional First Division? Do you know that there are three categories until the ACB?
Honestly I had not got any idea what the level of the competition before the season started. Lately, when I saw the first matches I realized it is a prestigious competition, may be the highest I ever have been played. But I personally think that desire to win is still an important factor and it often determines the result of the match.
Tenemos noticias que has retrasado tu vuelta a tu tierra natal, República Checa hasta que termine la temporada. ¿Tan a gusto te sientes en Marbella?
Initially, I did not stay in the work (it was the reason to come), only to December 2010. But I have decided to stay in the team until the end of the season because I was rather put out to leave the group without finishing the first part of the season, before to the "play-off").
Les deseo que puedan pasar la primera parte con éxito y puedan continuar con el play off y que nunca pierdan el buen ambiente que tienen en su equipo. Para mí me gustaría poder formar parte de todo esto con ellos pero tengo que irme. Espero poder disfrutar de la primera parte y volver a Praga con un buen sabor de boca. Finally, make a wish for the team and personally for you.
I wish them to pass the fisrt phase suscesfully and they can continue in the play-off, above all that they did not lose the home environment that have in the team. I would like to enjoy it with them but I have to return. I hope to enjoy the fisrt phase and return to Prague with a good taste in my mouth. Thank you very much to the team.
